On 11th March 2026, we increased the price of our ADHD assessments – from £249 to £289.

As we’ve explained before, our mission is to make ADHD support more accessible, by providing affordable assessments, while maintaining a safe and thorough clinical process.

So the decision to increase the price of our ADHD assessments wasn’t one we took lightly.

But after careful consideration, and increasing the length of our assessment slots from 90 minutes to 2 hours, this change in price had to be made to ensure that our assessments can be as thorough and accurate as possible.

On this page, we’ll explain:

  • the reasons behind the increase in price
  • what’s included in the new price
  • why we’ve had so few appointments available recently
  • when we intend to be back to full capacity

Why has the price increased?

Since launching in summer 2025, we’ve provided ADHD assessments for hundreds of patients. During this time, we’ve reviewed our assessments and listened to your feedback, and taken all this into account to see where and how we can improve.

We want to ensure we’re providing ADHD care and support that’s of the highest possible standard. So we’ve recently made several changes, including:

  • reviewing and improving our recruitment and training processes for assessors
  • establishing new and comprehensive guidance for clinicians to follow carrying out assessments
  • increasing the expected duration of our appointment slots from 90 minutes to 2 hours

To help us fulfil these changes in care provision, we’ve had to increase the price of our assessments from £249 to £289.

What’s included in the new assessment fee?

Everything that was included before, namely:

  • pre-assessment screening to make sure a video assessment is suitable for you
  • contacting your nominated friend or family member for supporting information
  • your video assessment with a licensed ADHD clinician (now 2 hours)
  • treatment recommendations (where requested and suitable)
  • your full diagnostic report

But in addition to the above, we’re confident that the slightly higher price will be more than reflected by the improved quality of your Focused experience (so that, overall, you’re getting a better value service).

Why have so few appointment slots been available?

When we decided to implement the changes explained above, we reviewed our schedules, and the practices being followed by our assessors.

We then took the difficult decision to cancel those appointments we weren’t fully confident would meet the higher standards we’d set for ourselves.

We gave patients with previously cancelled appointments priority when new slots became available – which meant that we had to temporarily reduce availability for new patients.

This is why the expected wait time for a video assessment increased from a few days to more than 8 weeks.

In addition to the changes outlined above, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, introducing technical solutions to ensure that our assessments are carried out to a consistently high standard.

Once this work is complete – which we’re confident will be soon – this will enable us to increase our assessment capacity again in the coming weeks.

Has the price of prescriptions changed?

No. This is still £189 per monthly prescription, and includes everything that it did before, including follow-up appointments, aftercare, access to our clinicians and titration.
